Completion of Acquisition - A Formal Denomination

Sheen Union Development Limited has acquired “PAD System” from its mother company LaSalle College Group in Canada, Montreal, in March 2007. After a 2-months smooth operation, the acquisition is proven to be successful. On 25th April, 2007, Sheen Union Development Limited, the company who acquired “PAD System” has formally renamed to “PAD System International Limited”. PAD System International Limited commits to keep on serving our customers and distributors with attentive services and quality technologies. A new era for PAD System with the change of its ownership

Pad System was founded in 1988, in Montreal, by creative people from the apparel industry. Leader in CAD/CAM integrate solutions, dedicated to the apparel, textile and leather industry, PAD system is present on all five continents through its international distribution network. Today, PAD is active in more than 50 contries and available in 15 languages.

From virtual design to integrated solutions, PAD system and its partners provide service, support, and appropriate training to thousands of satisfied customers worldwide, from freelancers to large scale owners.

PAD system's mission is to produces high-tech CAD/CAM solutions that are simple, efficient and flexible for companies and individuals related to clothing, textile, and leather industries.

Modular Computer System Limited, has been the top distributor for PAD System since 1992. It has made PAD system one of the well known CAD products among other major rivals such as Gerber and Lectra in the Greater China market. Modular Computer System Limited has over 20 years of software development as well as distribution and servicing experience.

In March 2007, Sheen Union Development Limited (a wholly own subsidiary of Modular Computer System Limited) acquired the complete rights of PAD system software, including its intellectual property, technical information, trade mark, website, domain name etc. from its mother company, LaSalle College Group from Montreal. The name of the software "PAD System" will be maintained the same and LCG will remain associated with the new owner of "PAD System" and maintain responsibility for the sales & service of PAD products in all territories outside Asia.

LaSalle College Group will become a distributor for PAD System products outside of Asia, doing business under another name than PAD System Technologies from April 2007.

LaSalle College Group is a privately owned holding company with an extensive network of international subsidiaries in the following fields: technical, professional and University education, corporate training, software development, consulting services, human resource development and real estate.

LaSalle College Group originated from LaSalle College, a Montreal based educational institution established in 1959.

The acquisition and the maintenance of strong association with the original founder company and developer of PAD System will set a new era for stronger, more stable and offer greater international reach than ever before. Partners and customers of PAD System will continue to benefit from the industry focus, product development investment, professional services and support capability and commitment on making your business even more successful in future to come.

The new owner and the seller will continue to work hand-in-hand to make PAD products much stronger and will carry all the efforts to maintain the PAD products' edge in the apparel and other markets. The seller, LaSalle College Group, is convinced that Sheen Union Development Limited will have additional flexibility and the capacity to do much more product development in China. Both parties feel that the faster development will bring new features to the products in the very near future for the benefits of customers.

The 8th China (Dongguan) Int'l Textile and Clothing Industry Fair

2007 Houjie, Dongguan, China – Modular Computer System Limited has set a booth in The 8th China (Dongguan) Int’l Textile and Clothing Industry Fair(28th-31st March, 2007). Besides our flagship product – PAD System, we have also demonstrated some others high quality CAD/CAM products, such as CNC-Cutter from Kuris, Nscan, 4Dbox etc.
We have achieved satisfactory promotion result from this event. More events will be held in the future to establish and enhance the status of our product – PAD System.
