  Allows users to add points on selected segments that are aligned from a projection guideline.  
  
Add points
===========

  #. Select the segment(s) where points are required; 
  
  #. Select |tool_image92| tool; 
  
  #. Click the desired location of the first reference point, then click the location of the second reference point without releasing the mouse button, a guideline appears; 
  
  #. Drag it to desired position.  Points appear on all the selected segments intersecting the guideline.

Enter value to add points
===========================

  #. Select the segment(s) where points are desired; 
  
  #. Select |tool_image92| tool; 
  
  #. Hold down **Alt** (Windows) or **Option** (Macintosh) or **Alt+Windows** (Linux) key, click the desired location of the reference point to open the dialog box; 
  
  #. Enter value, click [OK].
