A: The following installation guide applies to all PAD applications except Opticut Plus and Marker Optimizer:

5. Select language option for the application.
6. Follow screen Instructions. Reboot computer when finished.

For Opticut Plus and Marker Optimizer Modules:
1. Login as Administrator.
2. Under Marker Software, select either Opticut Plus or Marker Optimizer or both (depending on what you have purchased).
3. Then, select one of the two Marker Modules: Master Marker (work with Marker Optimizer only), or Opticut Automarker (can work with Opticut Plus and Marker Optimizer).
4. Select appropriate Security Key Driver type.
5. Follow screen Instructions. Reboot computer when finished.
6. Insert two dongle keys (come with the CD pack) to the USB ports.
7. Launch application.
8. Enter name of organization, Key Serial No. and Key Code for either Opticut Automarker or Master Marker. Key Information can be found in the CD pack.

A: Yes, PAD v4.8 is compatible with Windows Vista. In a multi-user environment,the administrator has to do a system-wise initialization of V4.8 applications at the first run (before any other user). To do this, right-click on icon of V4.8 application in the Start menu and select "Run as administrator". Enter initialization code and exit. Repeat the same for every application installed.
