Starting from May 1st, 2026, you need to have a "floating licencing service" in order to keep your licence in our server. Once the legacy version (version 5,6 and 7) of PAD System is activated, it will be kept in the activated machine and cannot be inactivated. In another word, the licence cannot be used by multiple machines.

Q：What is Floating License?

A：Floating License refers to a "Soft License" which can be switched (floated) between computers.

Q：What happen if user does not have floating license service?

A：1. User can still use the software, but the license is locked to the computer that obtained it. The license cannot be send back to our server, and therefore cannot be obtained by another computer. In another word, it will lock to a specific computer. 2. If the license is lost for any reason, the user needs to paid to release the locked licenses. Cost is USD 200 on each request.
